TDLA/ ADLA Joint Summer Meeting is set for June 17-19, 2021 (Father's Day Weekend) at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Destin, FL.  Our TDLA conference chair is Adrienne Fazio with Manier & Herod in Nashville.

The conference theme is "Mentoring." Brittany Wagner will be the keynote speaker and is a nationally respected athletic academic counselor and motivational speaker best known for her role as the breakout star of the hit Netflix documentary series, Last Chance U.  Brittany’s inadvertent stardom led to feature interviews with ABC’s Nightline, The Dan Patrick Show, GQ, The New York Times, The LA Times and Sports Illustrated — to name just a few.  Read more about Brittany here.

**Room note: The Grand SanDestin buildings are currently going through an exterior renovation. This includes Bahia/ Lasata/ Pilot House. We understand it is not a loud renovation but there will be workers on scaffolding. Please let the reservationist know if you would like to stay away from the renovations during your stay.

**Parking note: For those staying off property, the convention center no longer has an adjacent parking lot. The overflow parking grass lot is a 20 minute walk to convention center, or you may park at the front of the resort and ride the tram.

**ADLA note: The Alabama Defense Lawyers Association contracts with the hotel three years in advance to bring attendees and their families discounts on room rates, as well as reduced costs for conference food and beverage. Without these discounts, the quality of the Sandestin events would not be possible. Although alternate housing choices are available, ADLA strongly encourages all attendees to book inside the room block so the association avoids contractual monetary penalties and future conference registration fees can remain at a minimum.
