    TDLA welcomes the following new members:

    Debra L. Fulton of Frantz, McConnell & Seymour, LLP, Knoxville, is a University of Tennessee College of Law graduate, practices in the areas of product liability and workers' comp, and is a member of DRI.

    Jennifer Milam Lankford of Cornelius & Collins, LLP, Nashville, is a University of Tennessee College of Law graduate, practices in the area of employment law, and is a member of DRI.

    Amanda C. Waddell of Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell, PLLC, Memphis, is a University of Mississippi Law School graduate and practices in the area of medical malpractice.

    TDLA welcomes two more new members:  Chad Massey and Rob Sands of Dix and Associates in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  Chad's practice is in the area of automobile defense work and Rob practices in both automobile and insurance coverage.  They have applied for membership in DRI as well.  Thank you to Steve Dix for sponsoring these two individuals for membership in TDLA.

    TDLA welcomes the following new members of TDLA:

    Marty Roy Phillips and Ashley Donnell Cleek, both of Rainey Kizer Reviere & Bell, PLC's Jackson, Tennessee office.

    Marty is a 1991 of University of Tennessee College of Law, practices in the area of medical malpractice and is a member of DRI.

    Ashley is a 2004 graduate of the University of Tennessee Knoxville, and practices in the area of medical malpractice.

    At dinner on Friday, October 11, John Barringer passed the 28 year old Buffalo tie to Brad Box.  John and Laurie were presented with gifts to thank them for their years of hosting the Hospitality Suite and for John serving on the TDLA Board of Directors and eventual Presidency.

    Brad's wife, Angie, as well as his four fantastic children were in attendance to cheer him on.

    John Barringer strummed the guitar and sang an ode to Brad and Angie to close the evening.

    And then ... Off to the hospitality suite, hosted by newlyweds, Allison and Ian Malone.
     
    The following day, those in attendance were advised of the following changes to the TDLA Board of Directors:
     
    James Tucker of Manier & Herod, Nashville:  President-Elect
    Cate Dugan of Costangy Brooks & Smith in Nashville:  Secretary-Treasurer
    Phil Mischke of Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, Memphis:  Vice President
    Heather Douglas of Manier & Herod, Nashville:  Director
     
    Sarah Reisner rotated off of the TDLA Board after six years of devoted service.

    Congratulations to DRI members Rebecca Adelman and Peter B. Winterburn, shareholders in the Memphis office of Hagwood Adelman Tipton, PC, who recently won a verdict for the defense in binding arbitration in a medical malpractice case against a Grenada County nursing home tried in Mississippi.
